| Installing and running the desktop
application: |
| 1. Download the desktop and any requirements
listed on the home location of this site. |
| 2. Ensure the requirements have been met on the
desktop machine. |
| 3. Open the zip file and type in the password.
If you do not have the zip file password, contact support using this
. |
| 4. Extract the installer from the zip file to a
location that you can find, go to that location, and run the installer. |
| 5. Log into to the desktop applicaton. If you
do not have an account or if you do not remember your password, contact support
using this . |

| Installing and running the handheld
application: |
| 1. Download the handheld application and any
requirements listed on the home location of this site. |
| 2. Ensure the requirements have been met on the
handheld device. |
| 3. Open the zip file and type in the password. |
| 4. Extract the installer from the zip file to a
location that you can find, go to that location, and run the installer. |
| (you are able to run the handheld application
at this point, but there is no data from golftracker to acutally create a
score). |
| 5. Synchronize your profile and course
definitions (below). |

| Synchronize profile: |
| 1. Log into the desktop application. |
| 2. Go to the 'mobile' menu and click on 'Sync
Profile'. |
| 3. Click 'Find GolfTrackerMobile'. |
| 4. When the application finds
GolfTrackerMobile, click on the item in the list, and click 'write profile'. |

| Synchronize course definitions: |
| 1. Log into the deskop application |
| 2. Go to the 'Mobile' menu, click 'Sync
Courses' |
| 3. Click 'Find GolfTrackerMobile'. |
| 4. When the application finds
GolfTrackerMobile, click on the item in the list. |
| 5. Click the 'Toggle All' button. |
| 6. click the 'Write Courses' button. |
| (This will take a short while reading and
writing the courses to the device). |

| Import a score from the handheld device into
the desktop application: |
| MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE
ROUND FROM WITHIN THE HANDHELD APPLICATION!! |
| 1. Log into the desktop application. |
| 2. Connect the device. |
| 3. Go to 'Mobile' menu and click 'Sync Scores'. |
| 4. Click 'Search'. |
| 5. When you find what you are looking for,
click 'Import->'. |
| 6. Click 'OK' to import the score into
GolfTracker. |
